Iceland Cool CEO Sif Gustavsson authors an online travel guide which has won the WebAward for Travel Standard of Excellence.

Web Marketing Association Web Award: “Travel Standard of Excellence”

Iceland Cool is proud to announce that client Iceland Travel has been awarded the Travel Standard of Excellence WebAward in the Web Marketing Association’s national competition, The WebAwards. Other recipients of the prestigious “Travel Standard of Excellence” award include Disney World, State of Florida Tourism and Carnival Cruise Lines.

Iceland Cool was a key collaborator with Iceland Travel’s web team on the site’s design and content as well as contributing a comprehensive digital travel guide, “About Iceland.” The 50,000-word online destination guide and travel tool is authored entirely by Iceland Cool CEO Sif Gustavsson.

Judges of the WebAward felt that by adding a comprehensive travel guide, Iceland Travel was providing a helpful tool and service for the user, rather than only presenting a basic sales website listing their tours made for profit.

What the judges had to say about the award-winning travel guide:

“For any traveler who wishes to know anything about Iceland, this site answers it all. The imagery, information and tools leave no stone unturned. It’s a dynamic resource that allows any visitor to find what they are looking for easily – and find out things they may not have known before.”

“ABOUT ICELAND” TRAVEL GUIDE
